Sue Smith, a tenured theatrical tailor, has been a mentor to me since my degree project so it was a pleasure to be able to work for her and her right hand man Annemarie. The majority of the time I was stab stitching gold work onto jacket fronts, and fixing the odd bit of goldwork. I also did plenty of buttons and fasting and swing catches.
