Costume Traineeship at Will Skeet for Hamilton

At the fabulous Will skeet workshop I worked on shirts and waistcoats for the chorus of Hamilton. Due to the high volume of costumes required for the chorus, a lot of the sewing process was machined, including using an industrial heat press for waistcoat interfacings. Handsewing was still used for fastenings, and for a few swing catches. It was also fascinating seeing (and making) elasticated buttoned cuffs for quick changes.
