Costume Designing: Shades of Amaryllis

“From her early years Phoebe was encouraged to pursue ballet by her oppressive mother, Delia, often sacrificing her precious childhood years. As in her teenage years Phoebe faces a choice between pursuing an adventure or continue her professional dancer career, her choice makes her regret the consequences. This is a delicate story about beauty, narcissism and artistic sacrifice evoked through narrative and dance.”

My role and responsibilities for this project as costume designer consisted of: Costume design, Costume Buying and Sourcing from hire houses and coordination with actors and extras about what to wear from their own wardrobes.
